We are developing numerous DAC technologies. Grace Carbon is the strong industry leader in carbon capture equipment engineering. Our DAC technology covers both solid and liquid sorbent, counterflow and crossflow and natural draft air-flow configurations. We also have fully engineered systems around Rotating Packed Bed Centrifuge DAC’s, Fluidized-Bed DAC’s, Dissolution Reactors, and more. From an engineering modeling perspective, our team has developed the world’s only public access DAC Sizing/Rating Modeling Software. This rating package is theoretically derived, but based upon deep industry experience, and tied back into our test rig data reporting system.

Crossflow Cooling Tower or Liquid Sorbent, Direct-Air Contactor Module:
This unit provides mass transfer exchange between atmospheric air and either hot water or a liquid-sorbent (KOH, NaOH, etc.) with the air-flow in the horizontal plane and the fluid falling through an exchanger pack vertically.

Flower Power DAC: A Carbon Captivating Art Installation
We believe that Carbon Capture should not be left to the industrial sector. While our atmosphere is suffering greatly due to the huge emissions by industry, we acknowledge that our own individual choices impact the problem as well. We ALL need to be part of the solution.
We have developed this Flower Power DAC to be installed in cities, towns or on large private properties. Alongside our tech considerations, we are also considering the aesthetic presentation of Carbon Capture; wanting to make something that sparks curiosity in the device and in carbon capture as a process.
Natural-Draft Direct-Air Contactor
Based upon Natural-Draft Cooling Tower technology, this device is self powering, processing/cleaning enormous volumes of air and 'capturing' the CO2 from the airstream as it passes through, completely without the use of outside energy sources. The solar concentrators on the upper sections of the ND tower collect thermal energy from the sun. This energy is transferred to an array of air-cooled condensers at the base of the ND tower, causing hot air to rise within the shell. This massive stream of rising hot air is accelerated as it passes through the venturi section, causing a ‘natural draft’ of air through the device. This air-stream is pulled from the entire perimeter of the ND tower shell, where DAC units are positioned to filter the air-stream of CO2 as it passes through.
Rotating Packed Bed (RPB) Centrifuge Direct-Air Contactor:
At “HiGee” Gravitational conditions, the mass transfer exchange between air and sorbent happens much more freely, with less energy requirements. We believe strongly is harnessing this natural tendency, and are developing products that capture ‘centrifugal energy’ already in play, such as car, truck and train-car wheel systems, axial fan equipment already moving streams of air, and a host of other rotating equipment ‘parasitic’ usage opportunities. We have developed lab size, pilot-size, and facility sized RPB equipment for carbon capture.
Re-Neutralization Systems:
These are slurry mix based cascading tank reactor systems used for processing liquid sorbents, etc.
CrossFlow Cooling Tower or Liquid-Sorbent DAC Contactor - Test Rig System:
This system has been fully designed and engineered, and all surrounding systems developed in order for any company to build and install a test rig around their own specific technology. This system will enable actual field-test data collection realization. All operational and data collection software, construction lists, fabrication drawings, etc. are available for purchase today.
